    ABOUT THIS ITEM:
    Beautiful calendar advertising "Lincoy" protein blox made by Nixon & Co., Omaha, Nebraska. The background of the calendar is filled with brands, and a wonderful print done by the illustrator Vic Donahue, (1918-2008) called "A Close Call." ….depicting some of the local cowboys racing their ranch horses down main street of their country town. Under the calendar pages is the ad for "Lincoy" protein blox.  Vic Donahue had studios in Vermont and Omaha. He specialized in western subjects and his illustrations were used in magazines, books, and
    calendars.  He lived in  Nebraska for many years. This would be great in your ranch house "man cave."  It is in excellent condition....no rips or foxing. Measures overall 27 3/4" x 18". It will be shipped rolled up in a tube.  This calendar belonged to my Mother.
