    edition of the prestigious
    Spanish 24 Hours of Montjuich ,
    which was ridden on the
    Montjuich
    park circuit in the city of
    Barcelona
    between
    May 8 and
    May 10, 1968
    .
    The Velocette Thruxton was the super sports version of the Velocette Venom.
    David Croxford teamed up with fellow countryman
    Tom Phillips
    , together with their Velocette they
    won
    their class above 500cc, and overall they finished a magnificent
    3rd
    ! which was ridden on the
    Montjuich
    park circuit in the city of
    Barcelona
    on
    May 5, 1968
    , which is also the day the photograph was taken. Giovanni Cicognani teamed up with fellow countryman
    Ferdinando Frani
    , they finished 8th in their class and 12th overall!
