Geoff Duke really needs no further introduction. During his most impressive career he scored no less then 33 Grand Prix wins,
11 in
the 350cc class and
22 in
the 500cc class. In 1951 he won both the 350cc and the 500cc World Championship on Norton, followed by the 350cc World Championship also on Norton in
1952. In
1953, 1954 and 1955 he won the 500cc World Championship on the mighty Gilera four.
It is extremely rare to find an image of Geoff Duke on a Velocette! It is a very rare image.
