This is the nicest reproduction of a 1920's-era Kara "pitch" book that you're likely to find. We mean it! The cover is printed on mint-colored 80-lb. cambric stock. Inside pages are 28-lb. premium offset stock.
Kara, perhaps the finest mentalist to ever grace the stages of the American west, originally sold this book after his theater performances for (a princely sum back then). In return, the buyer was entitled to ask Kara a personal question. To keep the buyer from handing off the book to a friend or family member and getting another free question answered, a corner of the book was cut off. If you're ever lucky enough to fund a copy of a vintage original, expect to pay upwards of 0 for the privilege. And expect a corner to be missing.
Here, then is an amazingly accurate reproduction, down to the use of "up-sell" horoscope offers with Kara's mailing address. Don't bother purchasing anything from this horoscope book, as the offers are a hundred years old by now. But … it has all four corners!
