, a rock solid reputation that was equaled by the famous and illustrious Big Chief. Like the Scout, the Big Chief received the famous, deeply valanced “streamline” mudguards in the 1940’s, making it one of the most popular Indian models ever! The Indian 348 Big Chief was available in three models: the Clubmans, the Sportsman and the Roadmaster which had all the accessories you could think of. The Big Chief on the photo is a Roadmaster from the year 1948.
