A superb and rare photo of the1915 Harley-Davidson Model 9E 61 c.i. V-twin and police motorcycle that was adopted in combat motorcycle training bikes for World War 1.
In 1913 production of Harley Davidson motorcycles reached a top 12,966 figure, almost 8,000 motorcycles more then in the previous year! The line up was small yet effective: the Model 9A en 9B 31 c.i. singles and the 9E and 9F 61 c.i. V-twins.
